As Creative Director for Grin! Magazine, I led the conceptualization, design, and production of over 28 quarterly issues, ensuring that each edition delivered high-quality content on oral and dental health, as well as wellness and lifestyle topics. My role involved overseeing the creative vision, managing a cross-disciplinary team, and ensuring that every issue was both visually compelling and aligned with Delta Dental’s brand standards.
Each issue was crafted to not only inform readers about proper oral health habits and dental benefits but also to engage them with fresh, relevant content. With a readership spanning the U.S., the Grin! magazine gets delivered to over 10 member companies across the country who in turn distribute to current and prospective members, I worked collaboratively with our copy writers and account service teams to deliver a seamless and impactful product.
In addition to the magazine content, I directed the creation of a comprehensive suite of promotional assets to support the rollout of each issue. This included designing email signatures, mastheads, social media visuals, and an email — all aimed at driving engagement and ensuring consistent messaging across channels.
Throughout the process, I maintained a balance between adhering to brand guidelines and pushing creative boundaries to keep content both engaging and visually dynamic.
